The Mount Beauty Public Pool in Victoria has recently undergone a stunning transformation, with a complete resurfacing project carried out by one of our Approved Applicators, Rod Bundle. This large-scale refurbishment has breathed new life into the facility, delivering a vibrant, long-lasting finish that’s ready for years of community enjoyment.

Preparing the Surface

Before coating could begin, the existing worn and weathered pool surface required thorough preparation. Old coatings and contaminants were mechanically removed to create a sound, clean substrate, a vital step to ensure maximum adhesion and durability of the new system.

Application and Finish

Once preparation was complete, Rod applied NuPool Epoxy Pool Coating in Bluebell, with classic black lane markings to suit public use and comply with pool safety standards. The two-pack epoxy system provides exceptional chemical resistance, colour retention, and waterproof protection, making it ideal for public and commercial pool environments.
