Equipment
Apply using a watering can, hand or pump sprayer, or airless spray. Adequate safety equipment including gloves and safety glasses.
Preparation
No special surface preparation is required prior to application.
Ensure tank water systems are disconnected before applying to roof surfaces. Reconnect only after two good rains and four weeks have passed.
Dilution

Light Soiling: 1 part Nu-EcoSafe MossRid to 9 parts fresh water

Heavy Soiling or Pre-Painting: 1 part Nu-EcoSafe MossRid to 5 parts fresh water

Lichen on Trees: 1 part Nu-EcoSafe MossRid to 7 parts fresh water (Apply only during dormant seasons)
Test Area
Always test on a small, inconspicuous area to assess product performance, surface compatibility, and drying time.
Note: Some short-term discolouration may occur on certain surfaces, especially porous ones. This is temporary and will fade over time.
Application
Apply liberally to saturate the surface.
For best results, apply on a cool, dry, windless day when no rain is expected for at least 4–5 hours. Early evening is ideal to reduce evaporation.

For pre-paint preparation, allow a minimum of 72 hours before high-pressure cleaning (up to 3000 psi).

For passive cleaning, no further action is required. Improvement may be gradual and noticeable over several weeks or months, with rain helping to activate the cleaning process.
Clean Up
Do not rinse off after application—allow the product to remain on the surface.
Clean all equipment and exposed skin with fresh water immediately after use.
Reapply at the First Signs of Recontamination
Nu-EcoSafe MossRid is designed for easy ongoing maintenance. Simply reapply the diluted solution when moss, mould, algae, or lichen begins to reappear.
