AquaStop Silicon Sealer is a deep-penetrating, water-based treatment designed to protect porous masonry, concrete, stone, and terracotta surfaces. It creates a strong, water-repellent barrier that stops moisture from entering the material while allowing the surface to breathe. This makes it ideal for use on decorative and functional surfaces exposed to the elements.
Unlike solvent-based alternatives, AquaStop Silicon Sealer is low in VOCs and environmentally safer. It dries clear with a matte, non-glossy finish that won’t change the colour or texture of the surface. Within hours of application, it begins to show a water-beading effect, giving immediate visual proof of protection.
The advanced formulation resists alkalis, mould, and water damage while preserving the original look of the substrate. It’s suitable for application on slightly damp surfaces and fast-drying, making it perfect for projects that require quick turnaround.

Application by spray, brush, broom or roller is suitable.
The solution should be applied to saturation without pressure and in several (2-4) coats. Remove excess product and do not allow to pool on the surface.
Test Patch
It is essential that you test on terracotta and bluestone pavers before using, to ensure that the original colour and appearance is unchanged.
The reaction of Aquastop Silicon Sealer on different brands and batches of pavers will vary greatly and individual jobs should be thoroughly tested before sealing whole surfaces.
A number of pavers on every specific job should be individually tested to satisfy the client that the sealed appearance of the pavers is satisfactory.
