Resort Reception Roof Restoration
The reception and gym building at this coastal resort was showing significant signs of wear, with the roof’s waterproof barrier in need of attention. Rather than undertake the cost and disruption of a full re-roof, the owners opted for a smart, durable solution by recoating with NuTech Paint. The entire project was completed in just one week, with minimal disruption and the resort remaining fully operational throughout.
The restoration process began with a comprehensive pressure wash, removing dirt, debris, and surface contamination to ensure optimal adhesion. All joins, cracks, and gaps were reinforced with polyfabric, creating a continuous sealed surface ready for priming.
Next, NuTech Asphalt Primer was applied to prepare the surface and promote strong topcoat adhesion. The roof was then finished with a single coat of NXT Silicone in white, a high-solids high-performance membrane known for its superior durability and weather resistance. Due to its exceptional coverage, only one coat was required, streamlining the process without compromising on protection.
Upon completion, NuTech Paint conducted a final site inspection to ensure all application standards were met, securing the product’s warranty and performance guarantee.
