Silicon Sealer is a solvent-based, penetrating water repellent developed for concrete, masonry, terracotta, and other porous building materials. It works by absorbing into the surface and creating a hydrophobic layer that resists water ingress, helping to prevent staining, erosion, and weather-related damage.
Unlike surface coatings, Silicon Sealer retains the natural look and feel of the substrate. It dries to a clear, non-glossy finish that doesn’t change the colour or texture of the surface. Within hours of application, it produces a strong water-beading effect, giving fast and visible water resistance.
This sealer is ideal for use on older or moisture-prone materials. It can be applied to slightly damp surfaces and offers excellent resistance to alkali and environmental exposure. It penetrates deeply into porous materials, improving durability and reducing long-term maintenance.
Use Silicon Sealer alone or alongside other products in the NuTech Concrete Sealer Range for complete surface protection solutions.

Application by spray, brush, broom or roller is suitable.
The solution should be applied to saturation without pressure and in several (2-4) coats. Remove excess product and do not allow to pool on the surface.
It is essential that you test on Terracotta pavers before using to ensure that the original colour and appearance is unchanged.
The reaction of Silicon Sealer on different brands and batches of pavers will vary greatly and individual jobs should be thoroughly tested before sealing whole jobs.
A number of pavers on every specific job should be individually tested to satisfy the client that the sealed appearance of the Pavers is satisfactory.
Do not apply Silicon Sealer late in the day as the risk of surface damage caused by dew and condensation increases.
Sealer affected by moisture may appear milky.
Do not use Silicon Sealer on Bluestone. Refer to AquaStop Silicon Sealer
Mop or broom to remove all excess sealer immediately after application.
Ponding, pooling or runs in the sealer during application may result in a patchy or unattractive appearance.
If ponding occurs mopping or washing immediately with PaveCoat Thinners will disperse the product.
Silicon Sealer contains flammable solvents and suitable safety precautions must be taken during handling and application.
Ensure adequate ventilation if applying in enclosed spaces.
Avoid contact with naked flames, sparks, pilot lights and other sources of ignition.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Avoid contact with all forms of glass, including windows or windscreens as the sealer will chemically adhere to the surface and can not be removed.
